Learning Friendship Reinvention and Joyful Living
A month of purposeful work community culture family and new experiences in California
September 2026 in Perspective
September 2026 has been a productive, reflective and joyful month in my continuing journey as an author, lifelong learner and knowledge contributor. While spending the month in Santa Clara, California, I continued writing, publishing and developing educational resources while also enjoying family time, cultural celebrations, community friendship, nature and new experiences.
Reinvention became the month’s defining idea. Reinvention does not always require a dramatic change of profession, residence or identity. It may begin with learning a song, joining a community gathering, visiting an unfamiliar place, experimenting with technology or allowing ourselves to become beginners again. During September, I published four books, nine articles and six educational videos while continuing to learn from life beyond books.
Learning • Friendship • Reinvention • Contribution
Learn Continuously • Live Joyfully • Contribute Meaningfully
Dear Reader,
Welcome to the September 2026 edition of my Monthly Newsletter.
This month strengthened one of my deepest convictions: a meaningful life is not built through work alone. It becomes richer when learning, friendship, family, creativity, recreation and service find space together.
At almost seventy-five, I remain convinced that age should never become a barrier to curiosity. We may change our speed, methods and priorities, but we need not stop learning, experimenting, creating or contributing.
September 2026 at a Glance
• 4 new books were published.
• 9 articles were published on my website.
• 6 educational videos were published, including English and Bengali presentations.
• Several new book manuscripts and visual learning resources were advanced.
• A memorable Drone Art Show at Oracle Park in San Francisco brought technology and creativity together.
• A large potluck gathering at Raynor Park, Sunnyvale, created joyful community memories.
• Family visits to the Ganesha Festival near Newark and a Vishnu temple strengthened cultural and spiritual connection.
• Learning short portions of Hindi and Bengali songs with karaoke opened a new recreational experience.
Opening Reflection What Does It Mean to Keep Growing
Growth is often associated with youth, education or career advancement. Yet growth can continue throughout life whenever we remain curious, receptive and willing to act. A person may grow by writing a book, improving health, learning a digital tool, forming a friendship, singing a song, visiting a new place or sharing experience with a younger generation.
The willingness to remain a learner protects us from becoming imprisoned by age, habit or past identity. We do not need to master every new activity. Sometimes the value lies simply in beginning, participating and discovering another source of energy or joy.
September therefore leaves us with an important question: What new possibility am I willing to explore, even if I must begin imperfectly?
September in California
Spending September in Santa Clara gave my wife and me an opportunity to balance writing and publishing with family life, outdoor activities and new experiences. California’s pleasant weather, green parks, colourful surroundings and multicultural environment created a refreshing atmosphere for observation and reflection.
Our walks around the San Francisco Bay area brought moments of calmness and gratitude. Open water, changing skies, city lights and family companionship created memories that will remain long after the journey. Every place can become a classroom when we remain attentive to people, nature, technology and culture.
The Drone Art Show at Oracle Park
The most memorable event of the month was the Drone Art Show at Oracle Park in San Francisco on the evening of 5 September, from approximately 8:15 to 9:30 p.m. Hundreds of illuminated drones moved through the night sky in carefully coordinated formations, bringing together technology, artistic imagination, precision and teamwork.
Each drone was only one point of light. Working in harmony with many others, it became part of a magnificent visual story. Human society works in much the same way: individual talent becomes more powerful when aligned with cooperation and a shared purpose.

Friendship at Raynor Park
Another joyful experience was a large potluck lunch at Raynor Park in Sunnyvale, attended by hundreds of friends and community members. Families shared food, conversation, music, laughter and companionship. Each participant contributed something, and everyone enjoyed the abundance created together.
The gathering offered a simple social lesson: when people contribute with goodwill, the whole community receives more. Friendship and social participation are not optional extras in a healthy life; they support belonging, emotional resilience and happiness.
Learning to Sing with Karaoke
During the gathering, I tried singing the opening lines of a few Hindi and Bengali songs using karaoke. I am not a trained singer; I was simply learning and enjoying something new as an extracurricular activity.
The experience reminded me that learning need not always be connected with professional achievement. We can learn for joy, recreation, confidence and self-expression. At any age, we can permit ourselves to become beginners, laugh at our imperfections and gradually improve.
Culture Spirituality and Family
We also visited the Ganesha Festival near the Newark Mall area and a Vishnu temple with family. Living away from India can deepen our appreciation of Indian culture and spiritual traditions. Festivals and temples become more than religious occasions; they help families remain connected with heritage, values, memories and a shared identity.

Four Messages Connecting This Month’s Work
1. Growth Can Continue at Every Age
Age may influence our pace and priorities, but it need not end curiosity, creativity or meaningful contribution.
2. Clear Thinking Improves Everyday Life
Scientific thinking, self-awareness and wisdom help us question assumptions, evaluate evidence and make better decisions.
3. Health Requires Foresight
Healthy longevity and balanced blood sugar are supported by repeated preventive choices rather than occasional concern.
4. Contribution Multiplies the Value of Learning
Knowledge reaches its highest purpose when it helps another person become healthier, safer, wiser or more hopeful.
Framework of the Month RENEW
R — Reflect on Your Journey. Recognise what life is teaching you through achievement, difficulty, relationships and change.
E — Engage with People. Build friendships, join community activities and remain open to learning from others.
N — Nurture Your Wellbeing. Care for physical health, mental calmness, emotional balance, relationships and spiritual life.
E — Explore Something New. Learn a song, visit a new place, develop a skill or experiment with a creative idea.
W — Work for a Worthwhile Purpose. Use your knowledge, experience and opportunities to create value beyond yourself.
Seven Lessons September Reinforced
1. Reinvention Is Possible at Every Age
A new beginning may be modest, but it can restore energy, confidence and direction.
2. Learning Extends Beyond Books
Travel, music, relationships, cultural events, technology and nature can all become teachers.
3. Friendship Supports a Happier Life
Social connection strengthens belonging, emotional resilience and wellbeing.
4. Recreation Is Not Wasted Time
Enjoyable activities restore energy, stimulate creativity and make sustained work possible.
5. Technology Can Become Art
The drone show demonstrated what becomes possible when technical excellence meets imagination and coordination.
6. Cultural Roots Can Travel with Us
Distance from our homeland need not weaken tradition when families participate consciously across generations.
7. Contribution Gives Achievement Its Meaning
Books, articles and videos become valuable when they help someone think, decide or live more wisely.
One Minute Wisdom
• You are never too old to become a beginner again.
• Friendship is an investment in happiness and longevity.
• Recreation restores the mind that meaningful work requires.
• Technology becomes beautiful when guided by imagination.
• Cultural traditions connect generations across distances.
• Clear thinking turns complexity into constructive action.
• A long life becomes valuable through learning, love and contribution.
A Reflection for You
As September comes to an end, take a few quiet moments and ask yourself:
• What new experience brought me joy this month?
• Did I make sufficient time for family and friendship?
• Which hidden belief or assumption should I reconsider?
• What new skill would I enjoy learning?
• How am I preparing for future health and independence?
• Where can I use technology more wisely and creatively?
• What knowledge or experience can I share with others?
• What small reinvention would make my life more meaningful?
Honest reflection does not require us to criticise the past. Its purpose is to make the next choice wiser.
A Practical Seven Day Challenge
• Day 1 — Reflect: Identify one lesson September has taught you.
• Day 2 — Connect: Speak with a friend or family member who matters to you.
• Day 3 — Learn: Try one unfamiliar activity or explore one new idea.
• Day 4 — Strengthen: Take one preventive action for health or safety.
• Day 5 — Create: Write, record, teach or build something useful.
• Day 6 — Enjoy: Make time for music, nature, culture or recreation.
• Day 7 — Contribute: Share knowledge, encouragement or practical help with someone.
Seven small actions will not complete a life transformation, but they can begin a new cycle of growth.
Looking Ahead to October
October offers another opportunity to learn, create, publish and contribute. My continuing work will explore creative intelligence, social intelligence, human judgement, healthy longevity, happiness, purposeful ageing and the responsible use of artificial intelligence.
The aim is not merely to produce more content. It is to make every book, article and educational video clearer, more useful and more capable of improving lives.
I also hope to continue enjoying nature walks, family experiences, friendships and creative activities. Sustainable contribution requires balance—a wiser integration of work, health, recreation, relationships and service.
An Invitation to Readers
If any book, article or video has helped you, please consider sharing it with someone who may also benefit.
You are welcome to suggest a future topic, share your reflections, explore my growing knowledge library or leave a review of a book you have read. Your questions and feedback help me understand what readers need and encourage me to continue improving the usefulness of my work.
Knowledge becomes more meaningful when it begins a constructive conversation, strengthens action and travels towards service.
Thank You
Every reader, subscriber, viewer, reviewer, friend, family member and well-wisher is part of this continuing journey.
Your encouragement inspires me to continue learning, researching, writing and sharing ideas that may help individuals and society live with greater health, wisdom, safety, happiness, purpose and contribution.
May you remain curious enough to learn, courageous enough to begin again, humble enough to remain a student and generous enough to share what you know.
With gratitude and purpose,
