Independence, New Horizons, and Purposeful Living
August 2026 has been a deeply productive, reflective, and memorable month in my continuing journey as an author, lifelong learner, and knowledge contributor. Independence became the month’s defining word as India celebrated its 80th Independence Day—a proud occasion to remember the sacrifices that secured national freedom and to renew our responsibility to use that freedom wisely. During the month, I also published four new books, eleven articles, and five educational videos in English and Bengali.
The month also brought a personal transition as my wife, and I travelled from Kolkata to Bengaluru to California. Each place has its own charm. The change of place and weather, colorful surroundings, green parks, and warm spirit of happy people offered a refreshing sense of renewal. These experiences reinforced one central truth: freedom becomes meaningful when we use it to choose wisely, create purposefully, care for our well-being, and contribute to other lives.
Independence • Renewal • Creation • Contribution
Value Freedom • Choose Wisely • Create Consistently • Serve Generously
Dear Reader,
Welcome to the August 2026 edition of my Monthly Newsletter.
This month encouraged me to look closely at independence in its many forms. National independence gives citizens the opportunity to shape a country’s future. Personal independence asks us to think responsibly, make informed choices, protect our health, use our time wisely, and avoid becoming controlled by fear, inertia, distraction, or unhealthy habits.
During August, my books, articles, and educational videos repeatedly returned to practical questions: How can we make wiser everyday decisions? How can we start when motivation is absent? How can we create more than we consume? How can we prevent disease before it disrupts life? How can we calm an anxious mind, strengthen memory and muscle, live intentionally, and allow one life to benefit many others? Each question, in its own way, is about gaining greater freedom over the direction of life.
These are not merely topics for reading. They are invitations to practise.
Thank you for remaining part of this journey of continuous learning, purposeful action, and generous knowledge-sharing.
August 2026 at a Glance
During August 2026:
• 4 new books were published.
• 11 articles were published on my website.
• 5 educational videos were released in English and Bengali.
• The July 2026 special newsletter celebrating my 150-book milestone was published on my website.
• India’s 80th Independence Day was celebrated with gratitude, pride, and reflection.
• A personal journey from Kolkata (Calcutta) to California opened a refreshing new chapter of family time, natural beauty, and renewed creative energy.
The month’s work centred on four mutually reinforcing ideas:
• better decisions create better directions;
• meaningful creation is more fulfilling than passive consumption;
• prevention protects health, time, energy, and resources;
• knowledge reaches its highest value when it improves other lives.
Opening Reflection: What Are We Doing with Our Freedom?
Major achievements often attract attention, but they are usually built through ordinary actions that remain unseen.
A book begins with one idea and one page. Better health begins with one wiser meal, one walk, one restful night, or one preventive check. Confidence begins when we keep one promise to ourselves. A calmer mind begins when we pause before reacting. A meaningful legacy begins when one person decides to share knowledge, kindness, courage, or opportunity with another.
Our daily decisions may appear small, but they are never insignificant. Each choice casts a vote for the person we are becoming and the future we are creating.
India’s Independence Day reminds us that freedom was earned through courage, sacrifice, vision, and collective action. The best tribute we can offer is to become responsible citizens—people who continue learning, work honestly, protect health and safety, respect others, create value, and contribute to a stronger and more compassionate society.
August therefore leaves us with an important question:
How am I using my freedom—and are my repeated choices moving me towards the life, health, work, and contribution I truly value?
From Calcutta to California: A Refreshing Transition
Moving from Calcutta to California during August brought a noticeable change of weather, rhythm, and surroundings. California welcomed us with blue skies, colourful landscapes, green parks, and the warm vibes of cheerful people. Walking through pleasant natural spaces created moments of calmness, gratitude, and renewed observation.
Travel and relocation remind us that independence also means the freedom to learn from new environments. A change of place can refresh the mind, broaden perspective, deepen family memories, and stimulate new ideas. Yet wherever we live, our inner compass remains important: curiosity helps us learn, gratitude helps us enjoy, and purpose helps us use every experience meaningfully.
This transition became more than a geographical journey. It felt like a bridge between roots and new horizons—carrying the values, memories, and learning of India into a fresh season of life in California.
Four Books Published (from California) During August 2026
The four books published during August address different stages of meaningful change: choosing wisely, creating actively, beginning despite resistance, and protecting health through prevention.
1. Psychology of Everyday Decisions
Psychology of Everyday Decisions — Discover How Your Daily Choices Shape Your Destiny
Life is not shaped only by rare, life-changing decisions. It is also shaped by hundreds of small choices involving time, money, health, relationships, emotions, work, attention, and personal responsibility.
This book explores the psychological forces behind those choices, including habits, biases, emotions, social influence, impulse, fear, framing, and mental shortcuts. It encourages readers to pause, examine alternatives, consider consequences, and make decisions that align with their values and long-term aspirations.

2. Create More Than You Consume
Create More Than You Consume: Stop Scrolling, Start Creating, Stay Consistent—and Build a Life of Meaningful Output
Modern life offers endless opportunities to scroll, watch, browse, and consume. Consumption can inform and entertain us, but excessive passive consumption can quietly take away our time, focus, confidence, and creative energy.
This book invites readers to rebalance their lives by writing, designing, teaching, solving, building, recording, sharing, and contributing. The aim is not to reject consumption, but to use it intentionally as fuel for meaningful creation. Even a small daily output can gradually become a body of work, a useful service, or a lasting legacy.

3. Start When You Don’t Feel Like It
Start When You Don’t Feel Like It: Discover Clarity, Build Confidence, Apply Practical Tools, and Transform Your Mindset to Achieve Lasting Success in Life and Work
Waiting to feel motivated can keep valuable goals unfinished. Motivation naturally rises and falls, but meaningful progress becomes possible when we learn how to begin despite hesitation, low energy, uncertainty, perfectionism, or fear.
This book offers practical ways to reduce the difficulty of starting, create momentum through small actions, strengthen self-trust, and build consistency. Its central message is simple: action does not always follow motivation; very often, motivation follows action.

4. The Disease Prevention Blueprint
The Disease Prevention Blueprint: Prevent Disease, Build Daily Energy, and Reduce Medical Costs—Simple Habits for a Longer, Healthier, and More Productive Life
Health is one of life’s greatest resources, yet it is often valued most after it begins to decline. This book encourages readers to adopt a preventive mindset and strengthen the daily foundations of well-being.
It discusses practical habits related to nutrition, physical activity, sleep, stress management, medical screening, hygiene, harmful substances, social connection, and health awareness. Prevention cannot guarantee freedom from every illness, but it can reduce avoidable risks, support earlier action, and protect quality of life.

Four Messages Connecting This Month’s Work
1. A Better Life Begins with Better Decisions
Our decisions determine where attention, time, energy, and resources flow. Improving even a few frequently repeated choices can gradually transform the direction of life.
2. Creation Converts Learning into Contribution
What we consume can expand our minds, but what we create can serve others. An article, book, video, lesson, solution, or compassionate act allows knowledge to travel beyond us.
3. Prevention Is an Expression of Wisdom
Prevention means thinking ahead. It asks us to notice early signs, reduce unnecessary exposure, build safety margins, and act before damage becomes difficult or costly to reverse.
4. Consistent Action Builds Self-Trust
Every time we take a constructive action despite resistance, we provide evidence that we can depend upon ourselves. Small completed actions gradually build confidence, capability, and momentum.
Framework of the Month: FREEDOM
The FREEDOM Framework can help us translate independence from an inspiring ideal into a responsible way of living.
F — Focus on What Matters
Direct your time, attention, and energy towards values, relationships, health, learning, and contribution.
R — Release Limiting Patterns
Reduce dependence on fear, inertia, distraction, unhealthy habits, and the constant need for approval.
E — Exercise Informed Choice
Pause, examine evidence, consider alternatives, and choose with awareness rather than impulse.
E — Embrace Responsibility
Remember that freedom and responsibility grow together; our choices affect other people and the wider community.
D — Decide with Foresight
Consider long-term consequences for health, relationships, work, finances, society, and future generations.
O — Own Your Actions
Begin courageously, create consistently, learn from results, and avoid surrendering personal agency to circumstances.
M — Multiply Freedom Through Service
Use your knowledge, opportunity, and voice to help others become safer, healthier, more capable, and more hopeful.
FREEDOM is not simply the absence of restriction. It is the presence of awareness, dignity, responsibility, opportunity, and purposeful action.
Seven Lessons August Reinforced
1. Begin Before You Feel Completely Ready
Readiness often grows through action. A small beginning can reduce fear and reveal the next step.
2. Protect Your Attention
Attention is a limited life resource. Where it goes repeatedly, time and identity often follow.
3. Turn Consumption into Creation
After reading, watching, or learning, ask: What can I write, practise, teach, build, or improve from this?
4. Treat Prevention as a Daily Practice
Health and safety are strengthened through repeated choices, not occasional concern.
5. Build Both Mental and Physical Strength
Resilience involves calming the mind, training memory, protecting sleep, nourishing the body, and maintaining muscle and movement.
6. Live by Design, Not by Default
Intentional living begins when we decide what deserves our time and consciously remove what does not.
7. Let Your Life Create Ripples
The value of knowledge grows when it encourages, protects, teaches, or empowers another person.
One-Minute Wisdom
• Small choices are quiet architects of destiny.
• Independence is honoured when freedom becomes responsible action.
• Starting creates the energy that waiting cannot.
• Consume to learn; create to contribute.
• Prevention protects tomorrow through today’s wisdom.
• Attention is where intention becomes action.
• Strong muscles support an independent life.
• A calm pause can rescue a difficult decision.
• Memory grows when attention and meaning work together.
• One helpful life can continue through many lives.
A Reflection for You
As August comes to an end, take a few quiet moments and ask yourself:
• Which everyday decision improved my life this month?
• Where did I wait for motivation instead of taking a small first step?
• What did I create that may be useful to another person?
• Which form of passive consumption deserves a healthier limit?
• What preventive action can I take for my health or safety this week?
• How am I strengthening both my mind and my body?
• Which worry requires action, and which one requires acceptance?
• What deserves more intentional attention in September?
• Whose life can I encourage, support, or enrich through what I know?
• How am I using the freedom and opportunities available to me?
Honest reflection does not require us to criticize the past. Its purpose is to make the next choice wiser.
A Practical Seven-Day Challenge
To carry August’s lessons into daily life, try one small action each day:
Day 1 — Decide: Improve one repeated daily choice.
Day 2 — Begin: Work for ten minutes on something you have postponed.
Day 3 — Create: Produce one page, note, idea, recording, sketch, or useful solution.
Day 4 — Prevent: Take one action that reduces a health, safety, financial, or digital risk.
Day 5 — Strengthen: Walk, stretch, or practise suitable strength-building activity.
Day 6 — Connect: Share encouragement, knowledge, or practical help with someone.
Day 7 — Reflect: Review what worked and select one practice to continue.
Seven small actions will not complete a life transformation, but they can begin one.
July’s Milestone Newsletter
The July 2026 Newsletter recorded a particularly memorable chapter in my author journey: the publication of 150 books and one companion workbook. It also shared six books, ten articles, seven educational videos, and lessons on creativity, awareness, long-term thinking, public safety, and purposeful living.

Looking Ahead to September
September offers another opportunity to deepen the relationship between freedom, knowledge, and action. The freshness of California’s environment, time with family, nature walks, and exposure to new surroundings can become sources of reflection and creative renewal.
The aim is not merely to accumulate more information or remain busy. It is to select ideas that matter, develop them carefully, transform them into useful books, articles, videos, and tools, and share them in ways that readers can apply.
As we enter a new month, let us remember:
• a wise decision can change a direction;
• responsible independence can strengthen both the individual and the nation;
• a small beginning can overcome inertia;
• a preventive action can protect years of well-being;
• a meaningful creation can outlive the moment in which it was made;
• and one generous life can awaken goodness in many others.
September need not begin with a perfect plan. It can begin with one clear priority and one faithful action.
An Invitation to Readers
If any book, article, or video has helped you, please consider sharing it with someone who may also benefit.
You are welcome to send your reflections, suggest a future topic, explore my growing knowledge library, or leave a review of a book you have read. Your questions and feedback help me understand what readers need and encourage me to continue improving the usefulness of my work.
Knowledge becomes more meaningful when it starts a conversation, inspires reflection, strengthens action, and travels towards service.
Thank You
Every reader, subscriber, viewer, reviewer, friend, and well-wisher is part of this journey.
Your encouragement inspires me to continue learning, researching, writing, and sharing ideas that may help individuals and society live with greater health, wisdom, safety, happiness, purpose, and contribution.
May September bring you clarity in decision-making, courage in beginning, discipline in creating, wisdom in prevention, strength in body and mind, joy in helping others, and gratitude for the freedom to keep learning and growing.
